Principal (B.Comm, LLB)

Nicolas Zervos is regarded as a highly respected specialist lawyer in the areas of hospitality, liquor licensing, gaming and commercial law.

He was admitted into practice in 1980. Nicolas is a hands-on lawyer who represents a large number of commercial clients. At the same time, he has built a comprehensive and strong legal team who are renowned for their client service and expertise.

Principal Lawyer (BA, LLB), Lawyer and Registered Trade Marks Attorney

Georgia Milonas is a Principal Lawyer with Zervos Lawyers and was admitted to practice in 2000.

In 2013, Georgia became a registered Trade Marks Attorney, and specialises in a broad range of intellectual property matters including trade mark clearance filing and prosecution, trade mark oppositions, trade mark maintenance and trade mark infringement.

Georgia also provides advice in relation to other areas of intellectual property law including: rights persisting in unregistered trade marks; copyright protection; design registration and protection; domain name registration; licensing and the assignment of trade marks.

Ravak Seyed Ahmad
Principal Lawyer (LLB/LP.B.Com.)

Ravak was admitted to practice in 2005. She joined the team at Zervos Lawyers in January 2012, focusing on commercial dispute resolution and litigation. She leads the dedicated commercial dispute resolution team at the firm.

Ravak has extensive experience in conducting litigious matters in the Supreme Court, County Court, Magistrates Court, Federal Court and Federal Magistrates Court. Karen Stanaway

Karen Stanaway was admitted to practice in 2007. Karen joined the team at Zervos Lawyers in February 2015 with a focus and experience in commercial and business transactions including services agreements, sale and purchases of business, leasing and franchising. Karen brings with her both a genuine interest and experience in consumer and food law holding a degree in Applied Science (Consumer Science) and relevant industry experience. Karen is also a current member of the Home Economics Institute of Australia. Gab Donoudis graduated from Deakin University with a double degree in Commerce and Law. He commenced working at Zervos Lawyers part time in 2010, whilst he completed his qualifications. Stefan De Palma
Associate [LLB(Hons)]

Stefan De Palma graduated with Honours in Law from Deakin University and was admitted to practice in March 2013.

He joined the commercial dispute resolution team at Zervos Lawyers in June 2014 with a focus and experience in commercial litigation and commercial and business law.

Stefan understands business and has broad exposure to a variety of general civil litigation disputes, building and construction disputes, debt recovery matters, disputes arising from commercial transactions and enforcement proceedings.

Stefan is skilled in dealing with complex civil and financial matters and in developing a clear understanding of his clients' needs and desired outcomes.

Jo McCutcheon
Legal Executive (BB)

Jo joined Zervos Lawyers in January 2008 after obtaining considerable experience working for a major city law firm. Her expertise focuses on conveyancing and mortgage and probate matters. She is an integral part of the property and Wills division at Zervos Lawyers, with particular expertise and experience in aspects of Wills and estate law.

Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Business (RMIT) in 2000 and she is also a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives (Victoria).

She is passionate in providing excellent legal service for her clients and meeting necessary deadlines and expectations in a timely manner.

Nicholas Driver
Trainee Lawyer (B.Envs, J.D.)

Nicholas joined Zervos Lawyers in September 2015 after completing his legal studies at the University of Melbourne Law School in 2014.

Nicholas’s previous experience as a legal research assistant to a number of barristers within the Owen Dixon Chambers has provided him with a solid grounding within the litigation environment. His work here provided exposure to commercial, intellectual property and sports law matters in both the Supreme and Federal Courts.

This experience, coupled with his drive to learn and desire for success makes him a valuable member of the commercial litigation team. Nicholas also prides himself on his ability to connect with clients and understand their needs and concerns.

Executive Assistant

The backbone of the firm, Anna Chaimalas is the Executive Assistant to Principal Nicolas Zervos. She has spent 30 years working with Nicolas and is an integral part of the Zervos Lawyers office.

Diandra Zervos
Personal Assistant [B.Comm]

Diandra Zervos commenced with Zervos Lawyers on a part time basis while completing her university studies. In 2012 she started full time as a Personal Assistant.

She is Personal Assistant to Georgia Milonas and Gab Donoudis.

Diandra's dedication and commitment has seen her become an integral part of the IP and commercial team. Diandra has rapidly developed skills in assisting in the preparation of complex applications for registration of local and international trade marks, and trade mark oppositions.
